How to Suspend Your SpeakerMatch Membership Billing

Temporarily Pause Your SpeakerMatch Membership

We understand that circumstances can change, and you may need to take a break from your SpeakerMatch membership. That’s why we offer the option to suspend your membership billing for up to 6 months. This allows you to pause your subscription without losing your account or profile information, so you can easily resume when you’re ready.

 

To suspend your SpeakerMatch subscription:

  1. Go to your SpeakerMatch Member Center.
  2. Select Billing -> Cancel or Suspend My Account and follow the on-screen instructions.
  3. You'll receive an immediate confirmation number both on-screen and via email.

Contact our support team immediately if you do not receive a confirmation so we can be sure your request has been processed correctly.

 

What Happens During the Suspension?

  • Profile Content Remains Safe: Your profile stays in the system, but it may not be displayed to event organizers until billing resumes.
  • No Billing Charges: Your account will not be charged during the suspension period.
  • Maximum Hold Period: You can suspend billing for up to 6 months. After that, your subscription will automatically reactivate unless you request additional changes.
  • Seamless Reactivation: When you’re ready to return, your account can be reinstated without any loss of information.
