How to Submit a DMCA Counter-Notice
If your content on SpeakerMatch or BehindThePodium was removed due to a copyright complaint, and you believe it was taken down by mistake or misidentification, you have the right to file a DMCA counter-notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).
This article walks you through how to legally request that your content be restored.
⚠️ Important: Submitting a false counter-notice may have legal consequences. Only use this form if you genuinely believe the takedown was made in error or that you have the legal right to use the content.
To file a valid DMCA counter-notice, copy and complete the following template. Then send it to our designated copyright agent (details at the bottom).
Only submit this material if you believe your content was removed in error or is not infringing. By submitting this, you’re making a legal statement under penalty of perjury.
