Sort by CSP would help planners find someone with a CSP to make a more informed decision

Sort by certifications would help planners looking for CSP, CPAE, etc.

Make recent applications show first

When looking at status of applications, the ones from 2015 show first. Please format them to show most recent up top, then go backward. Note: the Submitted, Rejected filter does not solve this. Thanks Clicking the heading label in the table of applications allows you to sort by any column. Clicking a second time reverses the order.

Stay Put After Bookmark

After bookmarking a job, the site returns to the top of the list---instead of where I was! Frustrating to have to start over each time I bookmark a job.

email thread is useless: connect the threads

Hi, With appreciation for what does work on the site, here is the lowest. The "Re:Subject" email comes through individually without the previous info from the client. It makes it disorganized when replying. Very difficult right now to communicate. Please connect the emails from the same client, so it shows all previous parts of conversation. Then, we as speakers can serve them better and faster. Thanks, Gabriel

The site provides little actionable feedback or data for speakers.

The site provides little actionable feedback for speakers. There is no detail on who is looking at your profile or programs. Even broad categories like conference meeting planner, corporate meeting planner or speaker bureau would be helpful.

Fix mobile application formatting

On mobile phones, all text bunches together in the application fields. Very hard to read. Hi Gabriel! Thanks for the feedback. Can you send us the URL of the exact page you are referring to? I'll see what we can do to correct this.

Immediate feedback

When an application is denied you should require a reason. If not it's impossible to understand and tweak. For example, I speak around the world and rarely miss an opportunity, but here I have. That's odd.

Auto-fill application templates

I hate filling out blank applications. Even copying and pasting can be a pain because of the multiple fields. I'd much rather create a template that auto-fills in each application, then I can edit and customize from there. Maybe have my last application auto-fill as a template. Or better yet, be able to select from 3-5 of my own custom templates.

Require Reason for Declined Application

I think it's very unfortunate that as speakers we spend time putting together a program and an application for an event, and if our application is declined, we receive no feedback or reason as to why it was declined. Some form of feedback would possibly help us make adjustments or accommodations in the future with applications. It doesn't have to be a written explanation, it could just be a drop down menu similar to when you unsubscribe from a mailing list such as "Fee too high", "Material not a...

Show job industry

This was suggested by our member Ron V. "I would buy more if you could at least tell us what industry is requesting. Such as you posted one today that just says "sales people" and motivational. It would help me decide if I knew if they sell a tangible or intangible product or of course service. It also makes a difference if they are basically order takers or cold callers. Are they selling a single item or bulk. Just knowing the industry would answer most of these questions and would pinpoint...

Open deadline and decision dates

I have a weekly radio talk show. I need to new guests every week. I would like to have an onoing application. Thank you for your feedback. We have chosen not to make ongoing applications a feature. When it was available for several years we found the event organizer (more often than not) was not keeping their listing updated. However, we have added a "clone" feature so you can easily create the same listing. All you would need to do is change the event dates. You can also note in your listing t...

The ability to edit applications until they are opened

Sometimes I slap my forehead immediately after I hit "submit" because I forgot something simple. Would be nice to edit applications until the client opens them. Hi Tim, unfortunately the system is setup to where your application cannot be edited once you click submit.

Make it easier to navigate

Want to see the listing details I posted for. Hi Renard, Thanks for your feedback. You should be able to easily reference the listing details by clicking on the event title (it is hyperlinked to the event details page). It will open as a new tab or a new window, depending on your browser settings). If you are not finding this either give us a call at the office or send a screenshot of the page you are on and we'll help you locate it. Regards, Paul Ellul SpeakerMatch (512) 372-8768

Allow us to capture text from your site

I wish your sit would allow me to capture some of the text from the postings so I could copy some of the wording into my letters and into my business files I save on my PC relating to prospective engagements, etc. You site won't allow me to copy capture any text. So I have to re-type all the key points and it is a waste of time.

Instead of budget ranges allow planners to put in a real number. Often the actual budget is hidden in the 'i' in the details.

For many planners they have little money but will let the speaker sell from the platform. This is very important. This is a question that should be answered in all requests. Also I would like to see the actual budget rather than the range which often is changed with the 'more information "I" in the details. Thanks for the feedback, Jim. Currently we do request the planner to specify their fee (in the fee note field that is included with each listing). When the fee note field is left blank, you c...

Stop sending broadcast announcements

If I can't listen because my account is inactive please don't send all those announcements. Hi Hazel, thanks for your email. I have unsubscribed you from future teleseminar notification emails. You do have the ability to manage which emails you receive from SpeakerMatch under the Email Preferences tab of your Member Center. You can access this with an inactive account at anytime (https://www.speakermatch.com/members/login).

How to encourage meeting planners to open and read applications?

Is there anything you can do on your end to encourage meeting planners to open and read their applications from speakers? In an earnest attempt to meet their specific needs, it takes me an hour or so to write each application, including a tantalizing teaser headline. However it is maddeningly frustrating when I can see the meeting planner never opened my application. Can this be helped? Thanks for your feedback, Doug. Encouraging the planner to review applications is something we do pay attentio...
