After you request an Affinity Partner code, there’s a short registration and activation process to complete. This article explains what information is required, why it’s needed, and what to expect while your account is pending.


What Happens After You Request an Affinity Partner Code

When you submit a request to become a SpeakerMatch Affinity Partner, your account is created in a pending state. This simply means we’re waiting on a few required details before activating your partner link and assets.

You are not competing with other partners, and your request is not time-sensitive in a negative way. Activation happens as soon as the required information is received.


Information Required for Activation

To fully activate your Affinity Partner account, we typically need the following:

  • Your organization’s website URL

  • A logo for your organization (JPEG or PNG format)

This information allows SpeakerMatch to create a co-branded partner page that your members can trust and easily recognize.


Why This Information Is Required

SpeakerMatch works with trusted organizations and takes branding and credibility seriously. The required information helps ensure:

  • Your organization is represented accurately

  • Members recognize your group when they visit the partner page

  • The Affinity Partner program remains professional and transparent

Providing this information also allows us to finalize your tracking link so signups are properly credited to your organization.


What “Pending” Status Means

A pending status does not mean there is a problem or that your request was denied. It simply means your account is waiting for the required setup details.

Once those details are received, activation typically happens within two business days.


What Happens After Activation

When your account is activated:

  • Your Affinity Partner link and code become active

  • You receive access to your partner landing page

  • You’re automatically enrolled in the Affinity Partner Welcome email series

At that point, your organization can begin sharing the partner link whenever it makes sense for your members.


If You’re Missing Information

If something is missing or unclear, you may receive follow-up emails requesting the remaining details. These messages are sent to help move activation forward as quickly as possible and can be replied to directly if you have questions or need clarification.
