How Affinity Partners Earn Chapter Funds
The SpeakerMatch Affinity Partner Program allows organizations to earn chapter funds when members join SpeakerMatch using a partner link or code. This article explains how chapter funds are earned, how tracking works, and how refunds are handled.
How Chapter Funds Are Earned
Affinity Partners earn chapter funds when a member joins SpeakerMatch using the organization’s unique partner link or code.
For each qualifying signup:
The organization earns twenty-five dollars
The credit is associated with the partner account tied to the link or code
There is no cap on how many qualifying signups an organization can earn credit for.
What Counts as a Qualifying Signup
A signup is considered qualifying when:
The member uses the Affinity Partner link or code during signup
The membership is successfully created and activated
Only signups that originate from the correct partner link or code are eligible for chapter funds.
How Tracking Works
SpeakerMatch tracks Affinity Partner signups automatically through the partner link or code.
This tracking ensures:
The correct organization receives credit
Member discounts are applied properly
Chapter funds are recorded accurately
No manual reporting or follow-up is required from the organization.
Refunds, Cancellations, and Clawbacks
SpeakerMatch memberships are not long-term contracts. Members may cancel their subscription at any time.
A clawback occurs only when a member receives a refund. SpeakerMatch offers an eight-week money-back guarantee. If a member requests and receives a refund during this guarantee period, the chapter credit associated with that signup is reversed.
Clawbacks are handled internally and are never billed back to the chapter. They simply appear as a negative line item in SpeakerMatch’s tracking ledger.
If a member cancels their subscription without requesting a refund, the chapter credit remains and no clawback occurs.
Transparency and Record Keeping
SpeakerMatch maintains clear records of Affinity Partner signups to ensure transparency and accuracy.
If questions arise about a specific signup or credit, they can usually be resolved by referencing the signup date and the partner link used at the time of registration.
