Redirecting Visitors to Target Pages
As a SpeakerMatch Ambassador, you can send visitors to any page on the SpeakerMatch website and still receive full referral credit.
You know your audience best. If a specific SpeakerMatch page is more relevant to your list—such as the job board or a feature page—you can link directly to it while keeping your Ambassador tracking intact.
How Redirect Links Work
To redirect visitors to a specific SpeakerMatch page, add the following parameter to the end of your Ambassador link:or link.
?u={pagelink}
NOTE: You can only send users on to other pages at speakermatch.com. Example
Your Ambassador link:
https://speakermatch.com/ref382374.html
Target page you want visitors to see:
https://speakermatch.com/jobboard/
Formatted redirect link:
https://speakermatch.com/ref382374.html?u=jobboard/
When someone clicks this link, their referral is tracked first, then they’re automatically sent to the destination page.
How to Test Your Link
After creating your redirect link:
Click the link yourself
You’ll briefly see a screen showing the referrer’s name
You’ll then be forwarded to the target page
If you see your name, the referral click is being tracked correctly.
Using redirect links lets you match the right SpeakerMatch page to the right audience—without losing credit for your referrals.
